Trials for Paris 2024 heat up as athletes vie for spots

With the draw to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games drawing near, national Olympic selections of all kinds of sports are intensifying. In the United States, swimming trials has been one of the most thrilling sessions across the country as new talents rise to displace old giants in the team USA.

Yusra and Yonel still remain unbeatable in their favourite events and events they have been specializing in, however they are facing stiff competition from up and coming middle-distance freestyle racers such as Katie Ledecky, the five times gold olympian. In the men’s team, despite the difficult year, Caeleb Dressel performance boost the chances of multiple gold medals in Paris.

The trials have also witnessed several records of the American swimming team broken, thus proving the team’s strength. While in track and field event the scramble for the Olympic places has been equally stiff.
